Our company booked a stay for one of our executive officers to support a week-long proof-of-concept site visit. The heat in the room did not function and the refrigerator constantly made ice even though the ice receptacle was already full. The hotel’s solution was just to pull the plug. The door to the room was damaged (looked like it had been broken into) and our exec had to use force in order to lock the door. There was garbage in the hallways, and room service was far less than pleasing. Advertised free parking was erroneous – there is a substantial fee – and the valet service was not a reliable option; the valets repeatedly took from 30 min to an hour to retrieve the car. Upon reporting the issue, the hotel manager-on-duty dismissed the complaint, stating they ‘didn't look bored or wasn't on the phone browsing, so it didn't seem they were waiting that long’. The last day, the valet service even lost the keys for close to an hour, making the exec late to meet with the client. The exec had the MOD wait with him to prove that the service was sub-par. This experience was a disaster and our company will not be booking stays with an IHG property in the future.

Contacted front desk in the morning to leave my luggage before going to a trade show and was told they would text me by 11am about my room. Arrived back at the hotel at 4:30pm and room was not available. Parking is expensive ($36/day self park & $50 by valet). Layout is confusing and not ideal.

I travel in business I’m here weekly. I commute 18 miles to work from here. I chose to not stay at the hotel closest to where I was working because of a lack of working appliances and intermittent running water. Here are some specific issues and experiences 1) location it’s in midtown which is close to various attractions. I obtain groceries at Trader Joe’s and have a resident pass to the aquarium which is very nice. Traffic is bad most of the time in Atlanta so depending on what you are trying to do the midtown location could shave off travel time 2) breakfast- this is a really good one - compared to same hotel elsewhere. Nice fresh fruit selection. Usual hot items. One thing this place lacks is the 24/7 coffee station that others have. Some even leave the fountain soda machine avail but here after breakfast is over there is nothing. 3) laundry - speed queen front loaders. Complimentary as always. They are nice washers and will not destroy your clothes. 4) rooms are hit or miss. Floor plans vary. Kitchen is sometimes lacking items. Note I have no issue borrowing dishes from breakfast or other unoccupied rooms. Housekeeping does bring stuff you need though. Once I had a room completely devoid of furniture except the bed. 5) I have a love hate relationship with the valet service. You CANNOT call them…. Go in person to request your car and allow time 6) phone system external or internal is an epic fail. Cursing at the automated attendant is about as useless as asking it to connect you to the front desk. To get a human I usually call the diamond elite desk and have them transfer me to the manager 7) the lobby on the crown plaza level gets interesting visitors. A somewhat disheveled gentleman who likely was not a guest asked me to make waffles when I was on my way out to work (in scrubs) urban dictionary says that’s a euphemism for sexual intercourse. 8) there are big dogs here all the time 9) sometimes there are parties - it can get loud and the valet gets backed up. Once it took them 45 min. I’m not actually sure how you would go about self parking here. Valet is similar in price so just do that. 10) it’s clean. I have not gotten sick or contracted any insect parasites etc after basically living here for months 11) staybridge lobby is sometimes closed….and sometimes actually somewhat frequently its doors are broken and need to be manually pushed Overall the fact that I’m still here I guess means this place is actually ok. The breakfast staff are super nice…..

The layout is a bit confusing. Shares property with Crown Plaza. Staybridge checking is downstairs. The room was nice although no pillows or bedding was provided for sofa couch. Had to call twice and go to front desk to retrieve supplies. Parking is available but limited. If they are booked full, park across the street and take bridge to hotel. It’s a couple dollars cheaper going that way. The stay itself was fine but this property caters mostly to the Crown guests.

The receptionist was not nice an the room was dirty and old, the neighbor was bad, parking the street was $36 and is far to walk in cold weather, I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone one not worth the money
